i've been surfing l2blah and came across some tips & tricks about improving the internet connection. I'm using it myself, I can feel a bit of improvement, but that's about it.
If u wanna try it out, knock urself out:
phase 1. type "regedit" in windows "run" dialog to bring up the registry menu
phase 2. find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\paramet ers
phase 3. right click on the right pane and add a new value: DWORD, name it TCPNoDelay. Right click the entry, select "modify" and assign the value of 1
phase 4. click OK, reboot ur PC.

You can return to the previous settings by deleting the file you have created during this tutorial.
The guy wrote a whole documentary over there, but this is a short-story of it. The OS's standard value is 2, and with the new file we set it up to 1. In other words, your PC will respond faster to the packages send by ur ISP.
