Me and Worthless did the same to him and Booster in the past , and I think atleast 50% of the people do it. Once you have 240+ recs you can fill it back to 255 just by standing in Rune, Goddard, Aden or Giran. People seem to recommend 'blue' people when they see them.

Guess i will do the same thing then. Never became blue with out recing myself with alts.

Just show the big failure the rec system is. Except by having the Blue name it worth for nothing.

It is not really a failure per se - I mean the whole rec thing is pointless in the first place, at least they did not have it associated with some kind of skill.

It probally was meant for something. But everything of L2 is 'Coming Soon™'. Like the Seven Signs which are only 3.

Good point... or all the stuff they put at Fantasy Island - that place has so much potential but after they made it, they just left it in the trash... so sad..

FI got Kratei. But could've been so much better. Now NCSoft is slowly doing the same as Blizzard does with the coming WoW expansion; changing to whole world by changing low areas to end-game area's. Altho Blizzard does a better job at it, by redoing all skins, area-setup etc.. NCSoft just chances the level of mobs and quests and then they're done.

It's a long discussion L2 vs. WoW; but we gotta keep in mind. Lineage 2 is an Korean style grind-MMO, World of Warcraft is an American style easy-going-everybody-the-same-MMO. Everybody complains about the fact that every mage in L2 got the same setup, weapon, gear etc. it's the same in WoW but Blizzard just added a couple of epic weapons for each class. In the end an i.e. Paladin can only be played a certain way with a proofed setup which everybody is using since it's the best.

Still, rather L2 then WoW.
