l2.exe is treated as a trojan!!

When I try to run lineage 2 it says "failed to run l2.exe. Please check the file and try again."

Then my AVG virus scanner pops up saying this is a trojan horse and now I can't run lineage. I delete it, do the checking files thing, but I get the
same thing. Help!!!

If so, or whatever you running add the L2.exe or entire Lineage Folder to the exclusion list, then get back the L2.EXE from the quarantine

Now all should be ok :)

U need add L2 directory to the exclusions, i dont use NOD i used AVG and Kaspersky and both need to do that...

Don't warry, there is no trojan there, all is ok. I'll explain later, now have to go.

Are you sure, that your virus scanner is blocking the L2.EXE and not any other file from this folder?

it's a known issue and u can just put lineage folder into trust folder / ignor folder / wherether your antivirus calls it.

The thing is: if he still has a L2.exe to start with, he is not using the original client. In this case I would reject any kind of support.

Yeah atm Nod32 recgnized l2.exe as a trojan (he queratines it while the updater try to discompact it), but don't worry Kasperky anti-virus allways recognize gamegurad.des as a unsecure file and pop me to exclude it if i don't disable it.
