I was about to answer to Gen just about the server, but since I am a bit lazy this days to be here typing, reading, ...

I will leave the full thing into one package, so yes it will be long!

I will be keep using this Forum, but away of the game.

Me and Cola are looking into all options of continuing Ventrilo and website when they expire

Just keep in mind you will be unable to use this forum, about vent I never seen better service then the one we have, about the forum system there is some good ones free like phpBB and some applications that run over publicity or with limitations for free but with very low bandwidth or space.

That was my dealing problem over all this time, this was always closed mostly between me and Jason (Mr.Twig) and most ppl don't imagine what was running in the background.

Today prices in USD:

- vB Licence $469 (Paid once only, actually nobody paid such thing since I own this licence) - www.vbulletin.com - One of the best.

- Virtual Private Server $559 (This have all modules, Cache services running and great support, it is really easy to find hosts that look great in price but performance is very bad and most of the times the support is similar to L2 support) - www.globalgold.co.uk - Great company with excellent support.

- Registar $10

- Vent Server $134 (50 Slots, able to switch server location over a lot different countries / county's) - www.darkstarllc.com - Nothing to complain.


In total just the servers: $693 even splitting the VPS for my own project (sadly stopped atm) would be $413.

Not to mention the work some ppl that worked and helped me to achieve the last years Eye Candy we used to have with the speed, security and spam free.


Jason was for more then once trying to figure how to pass this info without shocking anyone, it was my decision to hold that info, but on other way very few helped to support all this and if ended falling mostly into the same pockets, I just never wanted to put things asking for money, sometimes (maybe was just me) I got the feeling some ppl was thinking I wanted to get some profit with this.

How long will this forum run?

I have no clue, if it will be possible to me to keep it live as long I walk on this planet it will be online, if I can't find a solution well will be closed waiting for better days.

It was a pleasure caring about this over all this years, I doubt any others would last long as we with with such tools, even Lineage run over EximiusClan old program.


A Special thanks to Jason that did a great job learning himself how to deal and work in the Forum background as Admin, and is great moderation work and helping to filter the bugs (mostly when my eyes started to shutdown over debugging and upgrade processes).

No idea how long will see this active with ppl, would like to see it live forever, but thanks to all that used this forum in a good way, just that is enough to make me proud of building such Website.


I will use nicknames and will miss a lot of them anyway, but there is a lot of ppl in all this years of Lineage that I will not forget, I am lazy to sort names by letters.

For the ones not listed don't be mad at me, I always have a piece of heart for you too, you are so many I would get grey hair typing about you all, some of you are younger in Eximius bloodline, but that doesn't make you different then the others, thank you all for being part of us, sharing ideas and goals, and having fun.

I know I am not a easy person to deal with, if anyone ever feel offended by my words or actions, my apologies for that.


I am a few closed on myself, sometimes ppl think I forget them, I don't care about them, but it is just how I am, I have you all on my Green Heart!


MrTea - You have worked near much as me to make this Clan Forward and you were the best helping me when I was locked specially to make my point flow to the others.

MrTwig - Sorry for my coldness sometimes making you think I was bored with you and many thinks for all the great job you did over this years even tired of the game as you were sometimes, thanks for fixing my bad grammar (feel free to look at this post once more), and dealing sometimes with my bad behavior on the mad mood days.

TheStand - Well one day I will send a Geocoin to Germany to find you, that Coin mission will be making us met somewhere belong the long dreams of life.

Chadosia - My lil Crow, our postal have not reached destiny but one day I know you will hit the postman and he will deliver you a big smile.

Ladypain - Thanks for all the support in game and in life specially after all my job issues.

Widmo - Was funny how we met in the game, will be waiting you to come to Peniche, Portugal Supertubos (I will be probably there for the 2011 Rip Curl Pro Portugal) \,,,/

Machine - Many of you never seen him, he was one of the Eximius starters that build the idea of expanding the Clan over a small group of friends.

Arthin - I always have the Matty Koala near me on my desk, you did so much even being in a Country with a different killer timezone.

Quickening - Hey lazy one, wonder if one day will make you show me the Niagara Falls, stay good Canadian!

Doom - Hope to keep tracking you and to meet you somewhere, in game, in life, in other voip server, whatever, was a pleasure to meet someone so K00L as you.

Zoom - I know my English ROX (NOT), you always liked the PVE part of the game and I know how you hated the PVP on Bartz, but you did always a great work, many thanks for being here with Doom.

Bhima and Yuva - My green brothers, both of you were a great company and two special players since the Clan early years, always happy no matter what was going on, who know if one day you both will come here for some soccer match.

Southlight - You have the Senior badge of the clan, will always remember you as a example of serenity and peaceful player.

MadGutz - I did the damn quest to get you the skill book over 20 times in a day lol, I hope you don't screw the sexy shower post cause I'm leaving that photo sessions, haha

Hoctopusse - I have to admit I was expecting to see you quit on the Prophet, lazy PP au revoir!

Huckleberry - Love your discussions with Twig haha, thanks for all the fun, friendship and the support you gave even on crazy days.

IncHulk - Crazy Orc, will always remember you as someone willing to help anyone too.

IttoOGami - You were a great friend, a great player and you always surprised me staying in clan even on the dark days.

Separla - Brave Dorf, always funny to play with you, always happy to put a lot humor in chat.

AHand and Kacela - We never spoke too much, but you both did a great work all the time and pushed hard moving the Clan forward too, even with language differences you both managed to set a lot things others left behind.

FadeOut - You were someone I always could count till the day you decided to seek other points of view, thanks for all the fun in game and on vent, a big hi to your bro.

MarieAntoinette - Keep your head in place, thanks for the crazy parties with the insane amount of newbie raids some were just hilarious!

Ryanu - Was a big pleasure to play with you, and you did a exceptional work handling all the crazy raid runs when that used to be hard to setup and organize.

Narfangel - Miss the crazy nights playing together, was hell fun that time, wish you the best and your lil one Angel too.

Jannu - Great player, sad that things didn't ended good as they started, all we need is to remember the good days we had and were not few.

Erowind - I would love to travel one day to Brazil, who know you will not show me some places over there, thanks for being always ready for the good or the bad.

MDY - You always ready when trouble come, sometimes I would like you had the support you expected, you were one of the PVP ready to go I could count all the time, and I always admired you for that, big thanks for holding things up.

Genosha - Will miss our parties with your ugly thing, thanks for the effort to make things move forward when I was so bored of game and all the changes done.

EpicPwnz - MAybe we met in other game one day, thanks for all your honesty and friendship.

NakedLeader - A great person, sad some things in real life sometimes take our time to be getting the fun we like, you did a great help in Eximius in the Alliance, and can't forget you ended the best Enemy turned into the best Ally fighting the hardest thing nobody will ever see again the way the game is going on, thanks for all your patience, chat and fun.

ColdSoul - You were a exceptional party friend, thanks for all the fun.

PEOV and TheSuffering - Thanks a lot for the great welcome on Luna and all the fun you both were "Pro" making ppl happy and laughs, Liz don't forget if one day you find someone crawling near a tree maybe he is digging to get a box with a hidden treasure.

Cola - I don't know how many times I got a reply like "I talked with Cola from your Clan", even not asking you anything and having you listed as officer you were doing always relations and getting info around us, maybe some got surprised to see you holding the leader headache symbol, the game changed, the players also changed, you have met ppl from all sides, think you are one of the best to lead the Clan into the balance of things. Thanks for everything you did, and don't forget our hidden corner when a Siege turns harder, maybe the Fire God will protect you there.

Thank you soo much Miguel for all these years. And even more thanks for getting me back after I left you guys for Nemesiis. Who would know where I would've ended up if you and the others wouldn't had taken me back into Eximius. Thanks alot for all support you gave me in the early days of my L2. Making me not quitting just because of failing 2 AM and 3 MA Robe crafts. You've left your legacy and we'll move forward.

'Bout the forums.
I've already been looking into phpBB. I used to run phpBB forum with over 10k members, so I know how the system works. I already thought you would cut of vB, altho you can pass the license on for a couple of bucks. vB is just to much forum for a simple clan as Eximius I think. PhpBB will do just fine.

Ty for the great long time in L2. I was member in Everdream only for some weeks, when we merged with your Clan. You were my one and only leader.

This is both good and bad news.

Its bad news because I know the influence you have on this clan. I know how much of an inspiration you are to those that know you. In the lowest of lows of the clan, you stuck with it and held things together. You were always helping people out. You weren't the type of leader that made demands without being willing to do it yourself. In fact, most of the time you ended up doing all of it yourself. You led by getting your hands dirty with your clan members. I know you were the kind of person that always had a friend's back, even if it meant you were going to lose 2 levels in the process.

However, this is also good news because I know you. I know you struggled with some of the same things I did in this game and how getting away from it makes a huge difference in life in general. So I am happy that you quit so you can get back to doing some of the things you enjoyed before this clan took so much of your time. Plus, its good news because now you have more time to play TF2 with Mabys and I.

You WILL be missed in this clan, but your legacy will live on.
